The Sofie is a modern update of a classic French café or Paris bistro chair and can be found in upper end cafés, brasseries, bistros and restaurants in historical European cities and capitals throughout the world. The Sofie chair is a favorite among restaurants and cafes because of its durability and how well it stacks. Each bistro chair is hand made using the finest Malacca cane rattan, stainless hardware, and a polystrand fiber weave that withstands the effects of inclement weather including rain, snow and sun. Each chair is meticulously handcrafted using the century old method perfected by the Danish skilled cane makers in the 1970's which leaves organic marks created while bending each piece of rattan into shape. These colorful chairs are sturdy enough for restaurants, but are comfortable enough for your kitchen, patio or deck.
